Follow Steven and his friends as they save the human world from evil invaders.

What makes it special: Steven wins through empathy, kindness, and forgiveness instead of through aggression, anger, or recklessness.

2. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

What happens to imaginary friends after their creators outgrow them? They come to live at Foster's home for Imaginary Friends, where they can be adopted by a child who struggles to imagine their own.

What makes it special: Bloo, the lead character, is actually pretty fundamentally unlikeable, and that kind of just highlights how wonderful the other friends are.

3. Adventure Time

Follow Jake the Dog and Finn the Human as they adventure through the land of Oooo, fighting monsters and just bein' good buds.

What makes it special: the absurdist humor coupled with increasing seriousness as the seasons go on make this a really amazing cartoon to grow up with.

4. Bob's Burgers

Check in with Bob, Linda, and their three wonderful kids as they try to keep their struggling (but delicious) burger restaurant afloat.
